North Stonington Public Schools is committed to recognizing and supporting students who demonstrate exceptional abilities and potential. Our Talented & Gifted Program provides opportunities for students to engage in meaningful learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic growth.
Giftedness may be demonstrated in a variety of ways, including academic achievement, intellectual ability, creativity, leadership, and specific talents.
Identification Process
North Stonington Public Schools uses a comprehensive, multi-criteria process to identify students for Talented & Gifted services. No single assessment determines eligibility.
The identification process may include:

Multiple data points are reviewed to ensure a fair and equitable identification process.
